Prof. Dr. Elman Nasirov, a Member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, visited the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to attend the conference titled “New Horizons in the Turkic World”, organized by World Peace University. As part of his visit, Prof. Dr. Nasirov first met with TRNC Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu at his office.
The meeting featured a warm and friendly dialogue in which both sides emphasized the strong fraternal ties between the two countries. Both sides highlighted the steadily growing relationship between Azerbaijan and the TRNC, and underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and diplomacy. Possible future joint projects and student exchange programs were also discussed during the meeting.
